Our amazing team of staff and volunteers are committed to offering loving service to others. We take our faith and turn it into action.  Faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26).  Would you like to serve with us?  Contact the church office, or Bro. Anthony, for more information!

• VESTRY – The Vestry is the Governing Board of our local church.  The Vestry tends to the building, grounds, administration, business, and other temporal works of the church.  We’re honored to have a dedicated gathering of approximately 12 members of the St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church Vestry.

• CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR – Mireya Clarke.  Mireya Clarke serves as our church administrator.  She’s served in this capacity for over 10 years.  We’re blessed to have this loving and faithful servant who works with the vestry in overseeing and administering the business of our congregation.

• EDUCATORS – Bruce Boyden, Oscar Caliman, and Ronald Chatman serve alongside our teachers in the operation of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Pre-School.  The operation of our Pre-School is currently suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

• CRYSTAL STAIRS – We’re honored to rent part of our campus to Crystal Stairs.  The Crystal Stairs Head Start Program fits with our church mission to improve the lives of families. Crystal Stairs supports families through childcare services, advocacy, research, and by providing comprehensive child development services for low-income children and their families.

• MAINTENANCE CREW – The property of the church is maintained by a small crew of workers.  Our maintenance crew keeps our buildings and grounds clean, safe, and accessible for the work of ministering. 

• ST. TIMOTHY’S TOWER AND MANOR – The St. Timothy’s Tower and Manor serves our community by offering senior independent living home units.  St. Timothy’s Tower and Manor is located adjacent to St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, at the heart of the Greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. 

• CLERGY – Bro. Anthony Miller serves as our priest.  Anthony is a native of Southern California and was born and raised in Compton, California.  Anthony’s family began worshiping at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in the 1960’s.  Anthony also attended St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church Day School. After studying on the east coast, where he received degrees from the General Theological Seminary (M.Div., 1988), Yale University (S.T.M., 1995), and Harvard University (Ed.M., 1996).  After withdrawing from a doctoral program in Science, Technology, and Society at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Anthony returned to the west coast in 2001. Since returning to Southern California, Anthony has served at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California and lived with several monastic communities, before returning to full time parish ministry.  Christian Formation, through hearing and living the Teachings of Jesus, form the foundation of Anthony’s work of ministering.
